The Cultural Connection in Nature Play - People, Places & History

  • 250 New Zealand dollars
  • Charnwood Farm

Service Description

Here we connect; with each other, our whanau, the tamariki we influence and our roots. We dig deep into the importance of human connections with people, places and things. We connect the dots with effective communication and documentation of learning and look at how we can connect our learning to current curriculum, and your settings philosophy and values. Group discussions will reveal stories of our own whanau history and highlight why it is important for children to hear stories about the past. This leads us into an afternoon of exploration into Maori traditions, stories, history, practices and games.
